Zonta International envisions a world in which women's rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential. In such a world, women have access to all resources and are represented in decision making positions on an equal basis with men.
In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence.

ZONTA CLUB OF PRINCIPAUTE DE MONACO was created in June 1994 by 20 women determined to be part of Zonta International, to use their experiences and their knowledge to the service of its ideals.

We always tried to improve our work but also to make known and appreciated the values of Zonta International in a country such as the Principality of Monaco.
Our good will and confidence allowed us to overcome many difficulties and to always see further in order to reach Zonta’s objectives in our city.

History in Brief

Early Zontians were among the first generation of college-educated women, among the first generation of North American women to vote, and a part of the growing, though still comparatively small, legion of women entering the workforce. They were committed to ensure equal rights for women and to improve women's lives.

Zonta's first club was chartered in Buffalo, New York on 8 November 1919. Membership grew rapidly. By 1920, a confederation of nine Zonta clubs had formed 600 members.

Over the decades, Zonta International has grown into a leading global organization of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy.

1Amelia Earhart Fellowship

The Amelia Earhart Fellowship expands opportunities for women pursuing advanced studies in the typically male-dominated fields of aerospace-related sciences and aerospace-related engineering.

2Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship

The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship supports women pursuing undergraduate and master’s degrees in business management.

3Young Women in Public Affairs Award

The Young Women in Public Affairs (YWPA) Award recognizes young women, ages 16-19, who demonstrate superior leadership skills and a commitment to public service and civic causes, and encourages them to continue their participation in public and political life.

4Women in STEM Scholarship

The Women in STEM Scholarship encourages women to pursue education, career opportunities and leadership roles in science, information technology, engineering and mathematics.
