March 2018: Conference regarding women refugees and immigrants at the Monaco Automobile Club

The lives of these women, often young, sometimes pregnant or with child, were explained in detail during the conference. They are accommodated in the Camp Roya in Ventimiglia ( a few kilometers from Monaco ), where they hope to have access to other countries.
Mrs Yselyne Carlier, Silvia Fontana, Renate Winter of the Croix Rouge Monegasque, Alessandra Zunino and Mr Maurizio Marmo from Caritas  told the audience of their personal experiences.
Women are in minority among the large quantity of immigrants but they are also the most vulnerable.
Fragile and often victims of abuse and violence before, during, and after the journey that they have undertaken to escape from the violence in their own countries.
